Washington, D.C – Cambodia has offered its congratulations to the Korean nations after they agreed to a historic deal that would allow international nuclear inspectors to observe the dismantling of facilities key to Pyongyang’s nuclear program.
Kim Jong Un, the North Korean leader, said on Wednesday that he had agreed to let international inspectors observe the process.
South Korea’s President Moon Jae-in said at a joint press conference that the move heralded the end of a long state of war on the Korean peninsula.
