Cambodia: CPP starts local council election campaign

Phnom Penh – The Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) kicked off a campaign for the provincial, municipal and district council election in Phnom Penh on May 17.

The launching ceremony, which was held on Koh Pich island, was presided over by Senate President and CPP Vice Chairman Samdech Say Chhum with the participation of more than 3,500 people.

In his remarks, Say Chhum highlighted the sound leadership of the CPP, helping Cambodia develop fast and reap significant achievements.
